For me, both work great. oven makes the perfect light and crisp pecans on another hand if you are in a hurry then you must go for the stovetop version because it takes less than 10 min to work.

1 lb. Pecans | 1 cup Sugar |
1 tsp Cinnamon | ½ tsp Salt |
1 Egg white | 1 Tbsp water |

- Combine the cinnamon, sugar, and salt in a mixing dish and well combine. Set aside that dish.
- In a separate dish, whisk together 1 egg white and 1 tablespoon water.
- To make a foamy froth, whisk together the egg white and water.
- Stir the pecan halves into the egg white mixture.
- Mix the pecans by hand until completely coated.
- Transfer the pecans to the dry mix bowl after they have been thoroughly coated.
- Mix the pecans in the cinnamon sugar with your hand until fully covered.
- Spread the coated pecans in a single layer on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Preheat the oven to 300°F. Place the baking sheet in the oven.
- Remove the baking sheet after 10 minutes to toss and spread the nuts; this allows the pecans to roast evenly and prevents them from sticking together.
- After 30 minutes, take the pecans from the oven and give them a final toss before setting them aside to cool.
- That’s all. Eat them as soon as they’re cool enough to handle.
