When I was scrolling Instagram, I found these fascinating cookies on one causal day, so I decided to bake this at home. Still, the first experience with these cookies was really bad because I knew what mistake I had made; I just added extra coffee powder that made my coffee chip cookies a disaster.

Hence, I decided to not bake these cookies anymore. I am good with my regular chocolate chip cookies. Still, I am an experimental person, so I was not stopped yet; then again, the next day, I baked those cookies very precisely, and guess what happened I just baked my coffee chocolate chip cookies, and trust me, those are amazing.

Ingredients:-

90g or 1/2 cup soft butter1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup white sugar1 egg
1 tbsp vanilla extract1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 tbsp cornstarch1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt1 tbsp coffee powder
1 cup chocolate chips1 cup chocolate melted chips

  1. Preheat the oven to 170°C.
  2. Take a bowl and add soft butter to the bowl.
  3. Now add the white sugar and brown sugar to the bowl.
  4. Now add egg to the bowl.
  5. Now add vanilla extract to the bowl combine all the ingredients for a while.
  6. Put a filter add flour, coffee powder, corn starch, baking soda, and salt.
  7. Sieve all the dry ingredients fold in the butter until it forms a thick batter mixture.
  8. Add chocolate chips and chocolate melt chips; keep mixing until the chocolate chips are combined.
  9. After preparing the dough, cover the dough with plastic wrap and cool in the fridge for 30min.
  10. Now using an ice cream scooper, scoop out some cookies dough and place them on parchment paper.
  11. Bake them for 10-15 min at 170°C.

How To Freeze Chocolate Chip coffee Cookies:-

 For already cooked cookies, allow them to cool to room temperature before freezing. Place in a freezer-safe bag and freeze for three months.

Allow them to defrost to room temperature on the counter when you’re ready to eat. Then, for softer cookies, microwave for 15 seconds.

If you wish to freeze the cookie dough balls, place them on a baking sheet and put them in the freezer for an hour or two to allow them to the firm. Then place them in a freezer bag. There’s no need to thaw them before baking; put them in a preheated oven!

Storing Instructions:-

Keep them on the counter in an airtight jar or bag for 3-5 days to keep them fresh!

  • Instead of ground coffee, use espresso powder or dry instant coffee.
  • Don’t overbake the cookies; keep your eye on the baking of cookies.
  • Don’t overmix the dough; just make sure you make the right consistency.
  • Basically, you can use any sort of coffee you have on hand, whether it’s espresso powder, instant coffee, or ground coffee.
  • If you don’t have the scooper, then you can use a big spoon too. Both work well.
  • If you don’t want to use chocolate chips then, you can use small chocolate pieces.
