Ingredients:-
For Vanilla butter cookie:-
100g unsalted butter | 55g powder sugar |
1/4 vanilla seeds | 1 egg yolk |
130g cake flour | 35g ground almonds |
For chocolate butter cookie:-
same as vanilla cookie ingredients, only remove the vanilla seeds
5g cocoa powder | 60g chocolate chip |
For butter Tea cookie:-
same as vanilla cookie ingredients, only remove the vanilla seeds
3g tea leaves |
For Butter Matcha Cookies:-
same as vanilla cookie ingredients, only remove the vanilla seeds
Japanese Butter Cookies Recipe:-
lets make this Japanese’s butter cookies with different flavors.

- Preheated the oven at 170°C.
- Soften 100g unsalted butter, add 55g powdered sugar, then stir in vanilla bean seeds.
- Add 1 egg yolk and mix.
- Sift 130g flour and 35g almond poodle into a mixing bowl and combine.
- When the dough is prepared, divide it into appropriate sized pieces.
- Roll out the dough to a thickness of 8 mm to 10 mm and bake for 15 to 18 minutes in a 170°C oven.
- Allow cooling before removing off the top plate and wrapping.

- Soften 100g unsalted butter, add 55g powdered sugar with 5g cocoa powder and 60g chocolate chip.
- Now all the next process is same as the vanilla butter cookies.

Can be the Cookie Dough be Stored in the Freezer?
If the dough is not going to be used the next day, just shape it and wrap it in cling wrap before storing it in the freezer. It will stay in the fridge for a couple of months.
How to Measure Ingredients Precisely with Cups?
You can use cups if you don’t have a kitchen scale. Just make sure that the flour, sugar, and almond butter are evenly distributed into the cup.
