This was my first doughnut recipe, and I am very excited to share this recipe with you. So today, I am sharing my favorite doughnut recipe, filled with oreo cookies.
Yes, you have heard it right, oreo. I know you are entirely delighted after listening to Oreo. Trust me, you will be extra delighted when you make this oreo doughnut at home.
Oreo is one of the classic chocolate cookies we have experienced from childhood, and all recipes related to oreo cookies are always best. So I think, why didn’t we try oreo donuts.

But but but be careful when you are baking at home because first let me share you the story as you all know I was living in a big family where I have a lot of children at home who loves to enjoy different foods and dessert. one day I was starving and thinking of baking my favorite oreo donut, so I went up to the kitchen. I bake a batch of 26 oreo doughnuts at home.
I gave the oreo doughnuts to all my family members; they loved them. They all liked that donut, even they liked it so much that they ruined it. And no one left one doughnuts for me, then I have to bake one more batch of 6 donuts. Ingredients for Baked Oreo Doughnuts:-
All-purpose flour:-gives the structure and use the right amount of flour for this donut recipe.
Brown sugar:-use to sweeten the donuts
salt:- enhanced the taste.
Cocoa powder:- used to give chocolaty flavour to the donut.
baking powder:- used as leaving agent.
egg:-help to give structure and to bind the other ingredients.
Vanilla extract:- add extra flavour to the donut
unsalted butter:-thins out the batter.
Milk:- use high-quality milk because low-quality milk will waste your effort.
Cheese cream:- the main ingredient of the toppings
confectioners sugar:- to sweeten up the cheese cream frosting
oreo cookies:– used as the topp[ings of the donuts that add crunchy flavour to your donuts.
Oreo Donut Recipe:-

Preheat the oven at 400degrees Fahrenheit. grease your baking pan so that the donut does not stick with your pan and keep them aside
prepare the batter:-
Add all the dry ingredients like flour, brown sugar, salt, cocoa powder, and baking powder to a large mixing bowl. Gently mix all the dry ingredients.
Then in another bowl, whisk all the wet ingredients(butter, vanilla, and milk) gently combine.
Then pour the dry ingredients into the wet mix and stir until your batter is prepared.
my note: Be careful not to overmix the batter, especially after you’ve incorporated the wet and dry components.
prepare the donut:
now pour the mixing batter into the Ziploc bag, and cut the corner of the bag. Make sure all the air should be released from the bag.
Pipe the batter into the doughnut pan in an even layer. Alternatively, you can just spoon the batter in.
Then bake them for 10-11 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean.
My Note: Make sure not to overbake the doughnuts. They simply need to bake for 10-11 minutes. When softly stroked, they should be fluffy and faintly spring back.
prepare the vanilla cheese cream frosting:-
In a large mixing bowl, using a handle electric mixer, beat the cream cheese, butter, and vanilla extract on medium-high speed until completely smooth for about 2 minutes.
Reduce the speed to low and add the sifted confectioners’ sugar gradually.
Pour in the milk. Once the milk is mixed, whip the frosting for 1-2 minutes at high speed.
Finalizing the oreo donuts:-
when the donut is ready, just dip the half portion of your donut on the vanilla cheese cream frosting, then add the crushed Oreos on the top of the donuts. Now you are ready to enjoy.

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 tbsp salt
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder, sifted
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 large egg, at room temperature
- 2 1/2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup milk (almond, skim, whole, reduced-fat, or soy will all work)
For the Cream Cheese Frosting:
- 4 ounce cream cheese, VERY soft
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, VERY soft
- 1/4 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar, sifted, more as needed
- 1-2 tbsp milk (almond, skim, whole, reduced-fat, or soy will all work)
- 1 cup Oreo cookies, chopped, for decorating
Instructions
- Preheat the oven at 400degrees Fahrenheit. grease your baking pan so that the donut does not stick with your pan and keep them aside
prepare the batter:-
- Combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- In another bowl stir all the wet ingredient.
- then combine the wet and dry ingredient until the proper batter not formed
- Place the batter in a Ziploc bag and squeeze out any excess air. The bag corner should be cut. Coat a donut pan with nonstick cooking spray. Pipe the batter into the donut pan in an even layer. Alternatively, you can just spoon the batter in. It should yield 6.
- Bake for 10-11 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Remove from oven and place on a cooling rack to cool. Take care not to overbake here!
- Allow doughnuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
